RealWorth ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you visit realworth.io.
Who Is Responsible for Your Data
RealWorth is operated as an independent project by Andrii, based in Poland, who acts as the data controller for the purposes of the GDPR.
All data protection enquiries, including requests to exercise the rights described in Section 6, should be sent to realworth.contact@gmail.com. We aim to respond within one month, as required by Article 12(3) GDPR.
1. Data We Collect
- Usage data: Vercel Web Analytics records anonymous, aggregated page-view data without third-party cookies. Google Analytics records additional usage data only with your consent.
- IP addresses: Processed by our hosting provider (Vercel) for security and performance. Retained for up to 30 days.
- Browser cookies: See Section 5 (Use of Cookies) for full details.
- Email updates: If you choose to subscribe, we collect your email address, signup time and consent to receive news about visualizations and site updates. Subscription is optional.
- No account data: We do not require registration or collect payment information to use our tools.
2. Purpose of Collection
We collect data solely to: (a) understand how our tools are used so we can improve them, (b) detect and prevent abuse or spam, (c) measure the reach of educational content, and (d) send email updates you choose to subscribe to. We do not sell data to third parties.
3. Legal Basis (GDPR Article 6)
- Google Analytics cookies — Article 6(1)(a), Consent. No Google Analytics cookie is set and no Google Analytics data is sent until you accept in the cookie banner. Google Analytics is denied by default. You may withdraw consent at any time, and withdrawing is as easy as giving it.
- Anonymous traffic measurement — Article 6(1)(f), Legitimate Interest. Vercel Web Analytics measures aggregated traffic without third-party cookies or persistent cross-site identifiers. It is used to understand overall site usage, not to profile individuals.
- Strictly necessary storage — Article 6(1)(f), Legitimate Interest. A single first-party local-storage record saves your cookie choice so we do not ask again. No consent is required for this, because the site cannot honour your preference without it.
- Server logs — Article 6(1)(f), Legitimate Interest. Our host processes request data to keep the site available and to protect it from abuse.
4. Data Retention
- Server logs (IP, request data): 30 days
- Analytics data (if consented): 26 months
- Cookie consent preference (local storage): 1 year from consent date
- Email update requests: stored in private Vercel Blob storage until you request removal or we discontinue the list. Contact us using the address below to remove your email.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. Because this site is operated from Poland, the competent authority is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, uodo.gov.pl). You may also complain to the authority in your own country of residence.
7. Third-Party Services and International Transfers
We use Vercel for hosting, private storage of email update requests, and cookieless, aggregated Web Analytics. Google Analytics is enabled only if you have consented. We use no advertising trackers on the site.
Both providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, under which both Google LLC and Vercel Inc. are certified, and on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses as an additional safeguard.
